Turnkey Integration is one of the projects strength of Packmate. Our engineering capability allow us to offer and install customized solution that meet our customer's packaging need.
In this show case, we will briefly explain the solution delivered to our customer in Colombia, packing Instant Cup Macaroni. The instant cup macaroni consists of 6 different ingredients which are filled by three different systems, namely, the multi-head weigher, the linear weigher and the auger screw filler, collected by a bucket conveyor which fills into the cup and sealed by the 2-lane top seal machine.
The ingredients consist of (1) macaroni, with its irregular shape and accuracy requirement, be filled by the multi-head weigher. (2) 4 kinds of dried vegetables, using linear vibrator with its filling quantity controlled by time. (3) seasoning powder, due to its powder properties be filled by an auger screw, quantity controlled by number of turns.
The system integrates a centralized control panel with Siemens touch-screen HMI, allows the operator to closely monitor and control each sub-part of the system from one location.
